A warm-weather staple: linen

Linen, once the mainstay of hippies and home furnishings, is experiencing a resurgence this season, thanks to a reworking of the natural fabric in a host of contemporary ways.
Woven from the flax plant, linen has been used for clothing since Mesopotamian times, but this season see a welcome resurgence in SS18 collections.
Linen works well alongside some of the more edgy trends – raw fabrics are more interesting and can also be so luxurious.  Linen’s return could also be a result of the drive in the fashion industry to create more sustainable collections: as an eco-friendly, luxe alternative to cotton.
This lovely light fabric is the secret to staying cool in Summer. Find pure linen items in Emreco’s SS18 Collection in a range of styles including tunics, tops and vests in a selection of prints and colours.
